Welcome to Primary 6!

Our class teacher is Mr Corkin, supported by Mrs Jones.

In Primary 6 we have been learning all about Norway in our 'World Around Us' lessons. We have been studying maps of Norway and identifying major towns and cities, along with rivers and oceans.

In Numeracy, we have been working very hard learning about place value in numbers up to a million!

In Literacy, we have been working very hard at writing recounts and using more formal language within the body of our writing to add more depth and structure to our work.

In PE lessons, we have really enjoyed tennis lessons and look forward to our allocated PE slot every week! Swimming has also restarted each Wednesday morning at South Lakes, and we have enjoyed returning to this.

Our class novel is 'Billionaire Boy' by David Walliams and the children are excited to hear the story of 'Joe Spud' and his over-the-top lifestyle.
